He is survived by: his sons, Ron Hanke (Penny) of Arizona and Tim Hanke (Beth) of Topeka; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Robert), Benjamin (Amber) and Sheri (Neil); and his sister Jean. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
