She was predeceased by: her parents, Len Allen and Edna Allen (Woods); her husband Leroy Lester; and her siblings, Virginia Taylor, Audrey Marshall, Katie Green, Evelyn Smith and James Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lester of Topeka, Kansas, Stephen L. Lester of Topeka, Kansas, Elissa Roycroft (Frank), Rene Davis and Monica McCarley (Rick); and her brother Sam Allen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
