He is survived by: his parents, Mark Steven and Melinda Mae Cottrell Hayes; his wife Katy Irene Brushwood; his son Jackson Iroh Hayes; his grandparents, Charlie R., Maxine Hayes and Mae Ardell Cottrell; and his siblings, Matthew of Topeka, Perry of Topeka, Mitchell of Topeka, Mizachariah of Topeka, Michelle Cottrell of Edwardsville, AL. and Melissa Hayes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made directly to Katy Hayes, donations may be sent to the Barnett Family Funeral Home, PO Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS 66066.
