He is survived by: his parents, Heather J. Windheuser (Sharp) and Michael G. Windheuser; his siblings, Lydia White (Kyle), Laura Nordgren (Lars) and Andrew Windheuser (Raeleigh); his niece Courtney White; his nephew Caleb White; and his girlfriend Jessica Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lawrence Children's Choir, an organization that was close to Matthew's heart.
