She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Burgoon and Verbula Burgoon (Minges); her brothers, Robert Burgoon (Janet), Harry Burgoon and Charles Burgoon (Tom); her sons, Jason Mathewson (Ann) of Scranton and Mark Mathewson (Lisa) of Kansas City, Missouri; her granddaughters, Brittany Miller (Tiffany), Brianna Rogers (Curtis) and Madeline Mathewson; and her great grandchildren, Korbin Lynn, Kaiden Lynn, Finley Miller and Emery Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin; and her brother James Burgoon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (357 N 3rd St, Baileyville, KS 66404).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
