She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Weidner and Rosemary Weidner (Drouhard); and her sister Gretchen Cox. She is survived by: her sons, John Spain (Lori), Jerry Spain (Kathy) and Tim Spain (Karen); her grandson Christopher Spain (Clare); her great grandchild Jade; her grandchildren, Benjamin Spain, Lauren Spain, Corinne Spain, Jacob Spain and Joel Spain (Peyton); her great grandchild Lillian; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Spain and Claire Spain; and her siblings, Steve Weidner and Jeanne Payne. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mary Pat's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and/or Mary's Choices, 551 NW Broad St., Topeka, KS 66608.
