She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ruth and Zelda Ruth; her husband Bob Armstrong; and her brothers, Paul and Roger.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth, Jim, Dan and Jane; her sister Patsi; her grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica and Mitchell; and her great grandchild Leighton Presley. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scott City High School Alumni and the Scott County Historical Museum.
