We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Mary A. Schmidt (Topeka, Kansas). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Mary; her husband Harold P. Schmidt; her brothers, Dennis and Leroy Gerstner; and her daughter-in-law Joy Schmidt.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Jim Wasko), Paul (late Joy Schmidt), Bruce (Brenda), Jason and Rodney; her grandchildren, Nathaniel (Nicole), Simon, Philip, Madalyn (Jayant Chandhary), Joseph, Anna (Jared Petefish) and Sara (Jake Machnov); and her siblings, Lillian Rohr and Jim Gerstner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brookside Retirement Community (the Joy Fund) or to Most Pure Heart of Mary Church and sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614.
