She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Smith and Emma Smith (Weisbender); her husband Leonard A. Appelhanz; and her sister Patricia Sapp. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Pritchard (Randy) of Meriden, Connie Pritchard (Danny) of Topeka, Christopher Appelhanz (Barbie) of Topeka, Carrie Roberson (Rodney) of Silver Lake and Charles Appelhanz (Tracy) of Topeka. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren.
