He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Rhea Sr. and Frances Northcutt; his sister Minnie Evelyn Smartt; and his son Phillip Rhea. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Rhea; his children, Doug Rhea (Dena) and Tami Hackney (Mark); his grandchildren, Cara, Chris, Doug Jr., Jon, Joe, Lauren, Lexi, Austin and Anson; his great grandchild His; his brother David Rhea (Charlene); his brother-in-law David Smartt (Wanda); and also Shan.
