He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Poell and Loretta Poell (Bond); his brother-in-law Bruce Dickson; and his nephew Benjamin Dickson. He is survived by: his spouse Sandra Ann Kriley; his children, Angie Bachelor (Aaron), Justin Poell (Lizzie Doud) and Ginger Belnay (Trevor); his siblings, Mark Poell (Carol), Mick Poell (Mary), Mitch Poell (Lorraine), Jamie Poell (Martha), Marcia Holston (Galen), Beth Dickson and Mary Ellen Reese (Rick); and his sister-in-law Jan Kelly (Warren).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Topeka Public Library and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
