He is survived by: his parents, Ronnie Workman and Lynn Workman (Price); his sister Stacy Schletzbaum; his brother-in-law Paul Schletzbaum; his nieces and nephews, Abigail, Caleb, Owen and Anna; and his pet Fritz.

“Workman family, My heart goes out to you all. Marty was a Senior when I was just a Freshman at Silver Lake. He was a larger than life figure to me. Experiencing that undefeated state championship season and watching the toughness and leadership of those Seniors made a life long impression on me. Marty had a competitive attitude, and he put in the work in practice & weight room to go along with his physical gifts. He was a “gentle giant”. Deepest sympathy. Mark Deiter”
