She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Manuel Urista and Magdalena Urista (Tamayo); her husband Jose Valenzuela; her children, Maria Valenzuela and Victor Valenzuela (Mayra); her siblings, Ramon Urista, Maria Urista, Valentin Urista and Magdalena Urista; and her grandchildren, Chato, Ricky, Carlos, Sally, Erick, Khristian, Jackie, Josie and Kayden.
