It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn J. Barnes (Topeka, Kansas), born in Soldier, Kansas, who passed away on June 27, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Vanderwall and Mary Vanderwall (Wykert); her siblings, Doris Vanderkolk, Richard, Wayne and Harold Vanderwall; and her great grandchild Courtney Marie Makie.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Ronnie" Barnes; and her children, Vicki Lesser (Bill) of Topeka, Jack Barnes (Darla) of Morrill, KS, Terry Barnes (Debi) of Topeka and Ray Barnes (Julie) of Topeka. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
