He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Slim" Florence and Tressie P. Florence (Burdette); his wife Lois Kukovich (Flood); and his siblings, Wayne "Cotton" Florence, Marion "Skip" Florence, Wilma "Pill" Meskimen and Mavis "Deanie" Fager.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Dan Kukovich and David Kukovich (Silvia); and his grandchildren, Dylan Kukovich and Natalie Zeller (Fairbank) of Topeka, Kansas.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
