It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois M. Smith (Topeka, Kansas), born in Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on June 21, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Nicholas and Mattie Elizabeth Trickel (Snyder); her daughters, Debra D. Hoover and Danielle M. Bays-Broils (Jon); and her stepson Timothy J. Hoover.
She is survived by: her spouses, Eugene Earl Hoover and Donald D. "Don" Smith; her stepson Eugene Arnold Hoover of Indian Town, FL; and her sister Mary Elizabeth Murphy of Little Rock, CA.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
