She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Jenks and Erma Redenbaugh Jenks. She is survived by: her husband Bobby D. Holmes of Topeka; her children, Denise Payne (Edward) of Knoxville, TN, Debra Dreher (Richard) of Knoxville, TN, Sharon Higdon (Jim) of Dalton, GA and Dennis Holmes of Topeka; her grandchildren, Brian, Angela, Kristi, Kimberly, Cherish and Derrick; and her siblings, Bill Jenks of New Franklin, MO and Judy Murphy of Bonita Springs, FL.. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Kansas Alzheimer's Association or to Elara Hospice.
