With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Kay McNeece of Topeka, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Linda Kay departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda Kay may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Linda Kay leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Sommer and Bonnie Jean Buress Sommer; and her brother Randy Hummer. She is survived by: her son Jordan McNeece of Topeka; and her close friends, Wilma Naylor of Missouri, Vicki Wilson of Holton and Shari Mccammon of Tecumseh.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brennan Mathena Funeral Home (800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Mount Hope Cemetery (4700 SW 17th St, Topeka, KS 66604).
