He is survived by: his wife Pat Hughes; his son Aaron Hughes (Laurie); his grandchildren, Connor Hughes and Amanda Hughes; and his siblings, Susan Hughes, Allen Hughes, Harold Hughes (Robin), Michael Hughes (Kathryn) and Dan Hughes (Pam).
