He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron J. Lewis Sr. and Bonnie J. Slade Lewis; and his brothers, Byron J. Lewis Jr. (BJ), Gordon Leroy Lewis, Sr., Wesley Clyde Lewis Sr. and Wendell James Lewis.
He is survived by: his friend Inez R. Alexander; his wife Inez; his daughter Collette Lewis; and his siblings, Peggy Lewis and Michael Scales (Ellen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
