Leon Stephen Cowan II Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leon Stephen Cowan II of Topeka, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Leon Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leon Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Emma Trice and Tommy Cowan; and his sister-in-law Linda Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Eva Cowan; his daughter Andrea Newton (Timothy); his stepdaughter Nneka Newman Dallas (Deejay); his grandchildren, Anya Newton of Kansas City, MO., Eden Newton of Kansas City, MO. and Kari Newton of Kansas City, MO.; and his siblings, Michael Cowan (Linda) and Wanda Cowan of Topeka, KS..
