It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon J. Ellis of Topeka, Kansas, born in Hanover, Kansas, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ellis and Georgia F. Ellis (Wickham); his spouse Jean A. Clark; and his siblings, William Ellis, Carl Ellis, Thomas H. Ellis and Juanita P. Brouhard.
He is survived by: his children, Patty White (Fred) and Kenneth Ellis; his grandchildren, Kimberly (Scott) and Richard (Darlene); and his great grandchildren, Emily and Kaylee.
