She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Young and Remore Young; and her brothers, Lyle and Leonard. She is survived by: her husband Louis A. Smith; her children, Deb Salsbury of Berryton, Brenda Smith of Lecompton, Andrew Smith (Rick) of Gulfport, FL, Ronald Smith (Daniel) of Rancho Mirage, CA and Brent Smith of Topeka; her granddaughter Rachel Friedl Teal (Brandon) of Berryton; her great grandchildren, Aliah Taggart of Topeka, Nicholas and Jacob Padilla of Berryton; her stepgrandchildren, Jackson, Madison and Makinley Teal of Berryton; and her great great grandchildren, Liam and Ryder Singer of Topeka.
