He is survived by: his wife Joyce Divers; his children, LaRon Beaver (Dana) of Topeka, Gary Hightower, Jr. of Topeka and Alecia Hightower; and his grandchildren, Nia, Mia and Gary III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
