He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland M. "Lee" Forbes and Leona Forbes (Hermann); his daughters, Sheri Simnic and Brianne Forbes; and his brother Larry Forbes.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Forbes (Williamson); his children, Edward Forbes (Brenda), Danny Forbes (Connie), Shantelle Sullivan (Sean), Katherine Farrow (Tyler) and Rebecca Thomas (Paul); his stepsons, Mike Simpson (Barb) and Heath Simpson (Jenny); and his sister-in-law Helen Forbes. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
