We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 75, Lauren Ann Cohen (Topeka, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Lauren Ann may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Cohen and Sylvia Bernstein Cohen. She is survived by: her sons, David and Benjamin; her husband Irving; and her brothers, Richard (Nancy) and Jerry (Lynda).
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Beth Sholom (4200 SW Munson Ave, Topeka, KS 66604).
She had requested that in lieu of sending flowers, those who wish send donations in her memory to either the Kansas Holocaust Commission (in care of the Temple) or to Hope Lodge (a resource for cancer patients) at 1120 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105.
