He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Mathews and Glendola Wilson Mathews; and his brother Edward Mathews. He is survived by: his wife Robin Keith; his daughter Lori Mathews; and his sisters, Sheila Mathews, Vonda Mathews and Vida Mathews. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission or to the Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of the funeral home.
