Robert Stephens wrote a sympathy message

“I met Larry due to our love for old cars. Larry had a very nice restored 1956 Chevy Bel-Air and I also had a classic Chevy. We then discovered we loved collecting old records. He loved "Doo Wop" and in the late 1980's we started going to records shows in the area buying records and he loved buying the old "45" doo wop records. We always had a good time going to the shows even when we didn't buy anything. He would enjoy his records on his classic juke box. He will be missed. Bob Stephens”

“Larry loved old cars and had a 56 Chevy Bel-Air when I met him as I had an old Chevy too. But we got together as Larry and I both collected classic rock and roll records. He enjoyed "doo wop" and collected mostly the old "45's". Starting in the late 1980"s, we went to record shows in KC and Topeka, looking for more records as we never had enough. We always had a good time. He had quite the collection and played them on his classic juke box. He will be missed. Bob Stephens”

Daryl Meredith wrote a sympathy message

“I remember working with Toad at Smelter Plumbing and Heating back in the early 80s. He was great to work with and taught me alot. We always had a good time working no matter the job. Every morning we would stop at the Kwik Shop at 17th and Fairlawn and get a few Big Hunk candy bars to eat through out the day. The Kwik Shop now is a hair cutting shop. RIP buddy Daryl Meredith”
