He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Carlson and Geneva Carlson (Tulien); his wife Marianne; his son Kevin W. Carlson; and his sister Karolyn Carlson.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Emmot (Bud); his stepson Dale Michael; his sister Marcy Carlson; his granddaughters, Emily and Hannah Emmot; and his great grandchildren, Ontarius, Kae, Lean Barefield and Amarion Brooks.
