He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ranker and Susan Ranker; his siblings, Bill, Dorothy, Mary Ellen, Richard and Robert; and his daughter-in-law Karen.
He is survived by: his wife Della Parker; his children, Ken Jr., Martin of Topeka and Shawna Welch (David) of Highland, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Lisa, Mindy (Derek) of Topeka, Stephanie of Highland and Lucas of Topeka.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home (2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka, KS 66614). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Northern Hills Baptist Church (920 NW 62nd St, Topeka, KS 66618).
He enjoyed going to church, helping others, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and New Hope Food Pantry, and donating blood.
