He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin W. Hendrix and Elizabeth "Irene" Gross Hendrix; and his brothers, Kenneth W. Hendrix, Paul E. Hendrix, Gerald "Jerry" Hendrix and Charles C. Hendrix.

He is survived by: his brother Loren Hendrix of Overland Park, Kansas; and his aunt Barbara.
