Joye A. Slocum Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joye A. Slocum of Topeka, Kansas, born in Nortonville, Kansas, who passed away on November 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joye A. Slocum to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Nieman and Sylvia Nieman (Brunkow); her husband Orwin "Newt" Slocum; her daughter Belinda Sue Slocum; her grandsons, Thomas K. Slocum and Travis Tichenor; and her brother Don Nieman.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Slocum (Cindy) of Pace, FL, Bryan Slocum (Ramona) of Springhill, KS and Janelle Slocum of Topeka; and her sister Carol Portanova of Lakewood, CO. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
