With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph John Lorson of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lorson and Anita Lorson (Kampman); and his son Austin Lorson. He is survived by: his children, Kevin, Sophie and Stevianna; his former wife Kayla Schonlaw-Lorson; and his siblings, Tom Lorson (Susan), Kathy Lorson-Howell, Bill Lorson (Jo), Cynthia Robitaille (Tim), Diane Harvey (Greg), Rick Lorson and Bob Lorson (Laura). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to The University of Kansas Burn and Wound Care Clinic.
