Jon Edward Zimmerman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Edward Zimmerman of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jon Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Zimmerman and Edward Zimmerman; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Patrick (Ulrica) of Avon and Angela Ely (Garth) of Newburyport, MA; and his grandchildren, Kit Ely of New York City and Nolan Ely of Merrimac, MA. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
