John Schmidt Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Schmidt (Topeka, Kansas), born in Goessel, Kansas, who passed away on February 15, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Eva Hildebrand; and his siblings, Harold, Elmer, Pete, Jr., Edna Lawanda Enz and Emma Regier.

He is survived by: his children, C. B. "Cub" Schmidt and Patty Warkentine (Jack) of Newton; his grandchildren, Amanda Warkentine and Brett Warkentine (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Cole, Tucker, Reid and Sydney; and his brother Milfred Schmidt (Marilyn) of Canton. He is also survived by kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday (Feb. 19th) between 1:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., where the family will receive friends between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. A memorial has been established with Caring Hands Humane Society.
