He is survived by: his children, Amy Tibbitts of Kansas City, Melissa Noonan of Topeka and John Noonan of Linwood; his stepdaughter Maggie Sweet of Topeka; his adoptive son William Noonan of Lawrence; his stepson James Thornton of Maryland; his siblings, Paul Noonan of Michigan and Laverne Kennedy of Fargo; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Noonan, Taylor Noonan, Joey Crowe, Shelby Noonan, Sabrina Noonan, Elizabeth Varelman, Townsend Tibbitts and Novella Tibbitts.
