He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice McGinnis and Ralph "Curly" Sims. He is survived by: his daughters, Laurell Sims and Malia Nace; his son-in-law Jason Nace; his grandsons, Sam Barouch, Jackson Nace and Joel Nace; and his sister Jody Bigler (family: Jeni Jeffrey, Haley Jeffrey, Luke Bigler, Bella Craig).
