It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John J. Kester in Topeka, Kansas, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Coleman Kester and Ford; his wife Cheryl Kester; and his stepbrother William "Bill" Coleman. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet, Bill, Judy, Phyllis, Marsha and Betty Brooks (Independence); his stepsisters, Janet Barnhard, Judy Ford, Phyllis Miller and Marsha Carder; his grandchildren, Ian, Colby, Amanda, Thomas, Abbey, Jeffery, Callie, Zane, Regan, Levi and Joshua; his great grandchild Ronin John; and also, Amy Kester-Niehaus (Craig), Kate Grover (Michael), Bonny Kester and Kara Fairbanks. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, three nieces and several step-nieces and nephews.
