John Alex Earhart Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Alex Earhart (Topeka, Kansas), who passed away on December 5, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Earhart and Mary Ruth Earhart (Hotchkiss); his stepgranddaughter Nina Mierzejewski; and his friends, Chick Brewer and Donnie Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Gordon Earhart (Vicki) and Darrin Earhart (Valerie); his grandchildren, Chelsea Earhart and Collin Earhart (Alycia); his stepgrandson Jon Mierzejewski; his sister Carol Carey (John); his nephew J. W. Carey (Cheryl); his great-niece Lindsay Carey; and his great-nephew Jack Carey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Osage County Fire District No. 2 or the Osage City United Methodist Church, sent in care of Carey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 196, Burlingame, KS 66413.
