He was predeceased by: his father Robert V. Genrich (LeeAnn Genrich). He is survived by: his wife Christina; his sons, Myles Genrich (Abby) and Matthew Genrich; his mother LeeAnn Genrich; his siblings, Dan Genrich (Darcy) and Elizabeth Langford (Chad); his parents-in-law, Alice Ishmael (Larry) and Dale Gibson (Edna); and his sisters-in-law, Michelle Schroff (Casey) and Connie Armstrong (Ryan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (1716 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66604). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (4700 SW 17th St, Topeka, KS 66604).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Joel's name to Faith Lutheran Church, Midwest Transplant, or Stormont Vail Hospital.
