It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Sittenauer of Topeka, Kansas, born in Bendena, Kansas, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Domann Miller; her great grandchild Isaac; her husband George Sittenauer of Benedict's Church; her parents-in-law, Matt and Elizabeth Sittenauer; her in-laws, Ora Mehan, Henrietta, Del Fortney, Esther, Johnny Saxton, Paul Harris, Charlie, Mary Sittenauer, Darlene Sittenauer, Ken Sittenauer and Angela; and her mother Teresa.
She is survived by: her sons, Curt (Jill) of Topeka, Bob (Susan) of Topeka and Brett of Topeka; her grandchildren, Jake (Sara), Will (Taylor), Jackson of Providence, RI, Katherine and Lawrence (Joe); her great grandchildren, Claire, Camryn, Caroline and Whit; and her in-laws, Gene, Shirley Miller, Georgia Hampton, Ray, Theresa Miller, Alveria Bartkoski, Pat Miller, Don Miller, Bettie, Bob Albers, Mary Kay Harris, Judy, Jim Curtis and Teresa Sittenauer. She is also survived by 72 nieces and nephews.
