We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2022, at the age of 92, Joann Darlene Meenen of Topeka, Kansas, born in Clay Center, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren V. Heusted and Bertha McNeal Heusted; her husband Donald Wayne Meenen; her brother Warren V. Heusted, Jr.; her brother-in-law Col. Raymond E. Morris; her son-in-law Randy Brown; and her foster son Bill West.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Moser (Terry), Linda Brown of Topeka, Doug (Karen), Mike (Sarah) and Pat Meenen (Micki) of Hiawatha; her brother Leroy Heusted (Sandy) of Surprise, Arizona; her siblings-in-law, Marian Heusted, Dora Meenen Morris of Wamego and Edward Meenen of Clay Center; and her grandchildren, Regina Muncheberg (Jens), Tracy Rose (Brad), Bryon Hoerner (Caitlin), Heather Cunningham (Michael), Jeremy Brown (Errin), Kristi Brown Harrell, Mark Meenen (Miranda), Rachel Meenen, Ashli Melon (Ricardo), Kyle Meenen (Shelby), Shane Meenen (Emily), Matthew Meenen, Michael Meenen (Madison), Sarah Meenen, Justin West and Jaimie West Ingwerson (Micheal). She is also survived by grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Avalon Hospice, Visiting Angels or Rossville Methodist Church in care of Piper Funeral Home.
