As we bid adieu to JoAnn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration JoAnn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller and Gladys Miller. She is survived by: her husband Sgt. Sammie King; her daughters, Krystal and Sandy; and her stepchildren, Pheetta and Theodore. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Highland Crest Community Sda Church (3225 SE Adams St, Topeka, KS 66605). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
