Joan M McDaniel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, Joan M McDaniel (Topeka, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her friend Victor D. Obley; her children, Deborah Kay Davies (Obley), Jeffrey Bert Obley (Gunda) and Vicki Jo Hearrell (Robert); and her brother Gerald Hanson (Louise). She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dove Southwest Chapel (3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dove Cremations & Funerals - Southwest (3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610).
