It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Hanson (Topeka, Kansas), born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Sage (Womack) and Harvey Sage; her siblings, Houston, Lynnwood and Naoma Sage Glenn; and her son Richard Sage Hanson.

She is survived by: her husband Vivion Thomas Hanson (Tommy); and her sons, Larry, Kenneth and Robert. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project.
