He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert T. Bayless and Florence E. Bayless (Fulkerson); his wife Helen H. Martin; his son Greg Bayless; and his siblings, Albert T. Bayless Jr., Dwight Bayless, Mary Brown and Josephine Anguiano.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Bayless of Topeka, Lynn Woodruff of Auburn and Sheryl Bayless of Topeka; his grandchildren, Dustin, Muriah, James, Matthew, Whitney, Sooner, Joshua, Jaden, Jordan and Gracia; his great grandchildren, Skyler, Allison, Damian, Ronnie, Alyana, Leona, Kamillia, Kannon, Kallatina, Braxtyn, Genesis, Hiken Dean, Oliver, Tydus, Ty Bo and Norman; and his siblings, John Bayless of Topeka, Doreen Haid of Carbondale, Ann Miller of Topeka and Nancy Weaver of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dove Cremations & Funerals - Southeast (2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka, KS 66605). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Auburn Cemetery (916 SE California Ave, Topeka, KS 66607).
