It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jay Hines (Topeka, Kansas), born in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on August 4, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Jane Hines (Cooper); his son Jay; his granddaughter Heather Kristin Leonardi; his daughter-in-law Harmony Jo Hines (Doole); and his brothers, Halsey Hines and Howard "Mick" Hines.
He is survived by: his children, Jefri Ann Franks (Robert) of Parkville, MO, Michael Bryan Hines (Zotoz) of Prairie Village, KS and Andrew Cooper Hines of Topeka, KS; his grandchildren, Jarret Maeder, Alexandra Pittman, Evan Hines, Morgan Jo Murdock, Kyle Cooper Hines and Kristen Grace Hines; and his great grandchildren, Damien Maeder, Isaiah Maeder, Adrian Maeder and Antonio Bernal.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the St. Luke's Hospice House.
