She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald B. Thomas and Dorothy M Thomas (Anderson); her husband Milford L. Wuerflein; and her brother Scott Thomas. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Wilson (Matthew).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parker Price and Davidson Funeral Home (245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Parker-Price & Davidson Cremations, Funerals (245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608).

I was Blessed to be around Janet , as we worked together for only a short time at Kaw Valley Bank...............but she definitely touched my life. I will remember her ALWAYS!
