He is survived by: his spouse Elga Gagelmann Tucker Render; his children, James Ray, Jr., Gabrielle Musick and Tammy Ray; and his sister Lila Dee Caswell of Lake Charles, LA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
