He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kiefat and Alice Kiefat (Westling); and his brothers, Chuck Kiefat, Ronnie Kiefat, Randy Kiefat and Scott Kiefat.

He is survived by: his sister Cheryl Segovia of Grand Forks, ND; his sisters-in-law, Karen Kiefat of Meriden, KS and Theresa Kiefat of North Augusta, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Jenny Job (Brian) of Dawson, ND, Katelyn Jones (August) of Longs, SC, Chris Segovia (Dora) of Grand Forks, ND, Bryon Kiefat (Theresa) of Grovetown, GA and Jimmy Kiefat (Jessica) of North Augusta, SC.. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
